N.M.L. Membership
Membership to New Morning Lodge is subscription based with annual subs or monthly direct debit. There are four meeting a year on the second Wednesdays of Feb, April, Oct, Dec all meetings are in the morning from 11am. We enjoy a good Festive Board lunch and fine wines. The December meeting is Installation and a special Festive Board, don't expect to go home early.
Already a Freemason?
If you are a member of another Lodge or have been in the past and remain in good standing you can apply to join N.M.L. just contact us and we will be able to arrange a meeting to discuss how and when we can get you in as a member.
Not a Freemason?
Not a problem. The minimum age to become a Mason is18, you must be in good standing and willing to commit a small amount of time to attend the meetings and participate in our ceremonies. We have a very simple application form for you to complete, you will need to be recommended and seconded by another Mason. We can arrange a meeting to discuss any questions you may have about NML or Freemasonry in general. The day you join it will be yours to enjoy and remember for the rest of your life.
Charity
One of the mainstays of Freemasonry is Charity, but let me assure you that giving is entirely at your own discretion and completely anonymous. Collections are made at the meetings to support the Lodge and its members plus any widows or needy. NML also hold a charity fund raising day each year, this is varied but includes golf, flying, sports etc. Money raised at these events go to our benevolent fund and are used to support Grand Lodge where it is pooled to support major charity events, in the past Freemasons have supported charities such as London Air Ambulance, Fire Brigade London Ladder appeal etc. Collections from the many other Lodges raise in the order of £10 million per year.
